FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I reserve my wedding date?
Simply fill out the contact form under the inquire page. After obtaining this information, I will update you with my availability. Once that is confirmed and you would like to move forward with booking, a link to your agreement will be provided to lock in the date. Once you open the proposal you will be able to review the proposed services, virtually sign the agreement & submit deposit payment online.
An initial $300 retainer and a signed contract will officially ensure our services. Anything additional will be included in the remaining balance. The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the event date listed on the agreement. Please note, your date is not confirmed until the contract is signed and the deposit is received. Contracts are valid for one week after they are sent. After which, the date will be released to the next inquiry.
Is there a minimum to book on location services?
We do require a $600 (or 4 person) minimum when securing a weekend date (Friday - Sunday).
If your requested date is mid week (Monday - Thursday), or off season (January - March), the minimum is reduced to 3 services.
We are able to accommodate any sized party, depending on the number of artists we have available. Each artist can accommodate up to 7 people per event!
The minimum for 1 artist is a headcount of 4 or the equivalent. The minimum for 2 artists is a headcount of 8 or the equivalent. Once the number of artists is solidified on the contract, the minimum headcount or equivalent will be final. We can always start with 1 artist initially, then add a second once things become more finalized. However, without officially securing a secondary artist in advance there is no guarantee of additional availability if the headcount ends up exceeding 8 makeup applications.
The fee for additional artists is $150

Parking fees are the responsibility of the client, valet or garage rates will be added to agreement. Depending on the location or if hotel vouchers are offered, arrangements may need to be made in advance.
Travel fees of .75 cents per mile (round trip) will be assessed for locations 25 miles or more outside of Essex, MA. Destination weddings, those of 100 miles or more will be priced upon request.
Any additional time requested by client for touch ups before or after the ceremony / first look must be made in advance and client will be assessed an additional $150 per hour per artist.
Holidays and holiday weekends will be charged an additional $100 per artist.
Early morning start times prior to 8 AM will be charged an additional fee of $100 per hour per artist.

From New England’s top venues and award winning creatives, we love to team up with amazing partners! Having been fortunate enough to work with some of the best in the industry, a list with some of our favorite vendors would be happily provided.
When should I schedule my trial appointment?
We advise scheduling your consultation during a weekday 3-6 months prior to the wedding. The trial is a one hour long session, services are offered on Monday’s from 10 AM - 2 PM. Our studio is located within The Estuary Collective nestled in the marshes of Essex, MA.
Appointments are occasionally held in Somerville on weekday mornings out of Melissa Luella’s Fine Art Boudoir Photography Studio.
Weekend appointments are available off season January through March, depending on availability.
Any special tips and tricks to get wedding ready?
We want you to relax and enjoy every moment of your special day! Upon receiving your proposal there will be a guide full of helpful tips for yourself, and to share with your entire wedding party.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards and bank transfers are accepted through the virtual proposal portal. This ensures a safe and secure payment process.
Venmo, Cash, or Check disbursements are welcomed towards balance when previously agreed upon in writing.
How far do you travel?
At this time, we can travel up to one hours distance from Essex, MA. There are no travel fees when getting ready on the North Shore of Boston in surrounding towns such as Gloucester, Beverly, Salem, Marblehead, Danvers, Peabody, Topsfield, Rowley, Newburyport.
We provide makeup services as far as Ogunquit, York, South Berwick Maine. Portsmouth, Bedford, Nashua New Hampshire.
